Wife of Ondo State Governor, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has assured non-indigenes living in the state of the continued support of the Akeredolu-led administration. She gave the assurance while receiving in audience a delegation of Ebira community living in Ondo State during their courtesy visit at her Alagbaka Government House, Akure.
Ondo State First Lady restated the all-inclusiveness of the Akeredolu-led administration and promised to protect the interests of all non-indigenes living in the state.
“You raise your children here and pay your tax here, so there’s no room for any discrimination. I’ll stand firmly to defend the interest of non indigenes, because you’re also creating wealth and promoting this administration. Continue supporting APC and Governor Akeredolu’s programs, because he means well. This government is for all of us,” Mrs Akeredolu said.
In his address, the Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Ebira Matters, Hon. Hassan Ahete -who led the delegation- expressed appreciation to Mrs Akeredolu for her generous contributions to the people of Ondo State through her empowerment programmes, including BEMORE, FOWOSO, and BRECAN, and also restated the commitment and support of the Ebira community to Governor Akeredolu’s administration.
