Ondo Commissioner Empowers His People

The Ondo State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan yesterday donated thousands of naira, 10 vehicles, 7 Motorcycles, Grinding Machines to some indigenes of Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Pastor Igbasan, who is the current Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in Ondo State, made it known to the good people of Irele local government that the gesture was part of activities marking his one year in Office as Commissioner.

Items distributed to the beneficiaries include; Pathfinder and Honda Jeeps, Toyota Camry cars, Honda cars, Golf cars, motorcycles, grinding machines and gift of cash (#20,000 was given to 3 people in each of the 10 wards across the local government, some were given #100,000 while some received #200,000 gift of cash)

The chairman of APC in the state Engr Ade Adetimehin in his address applauded the Commissioner. He said the commissioner hasn’t disappointed his people, adding that what the Commissioner did is unprecedented.

He also advised the beneficiaries to judiciously use the vehicles, motorcycles, grinding machines and as well as the money given to them to grow their businesses.

The Chairman also used the occasion to highlight some of the achievements of the present administration in the state. The Chairman enjoined the members of the party to love one another. He also urged them to support the government of the day.

The State Chairman was accompanied by members of the State Working Committee, Deputy State Chairman, Hon. Agabra Atili, State Secretary, Mr Alaye Adesina, State Finance Secretary Chief Akinbohun, State Youth Leader, Olutayo Babalayo(Olu T) State PRO, Mr Alex Kalejaye, and State Organising Secretary, Mr Charles.

Other party Chieftains at the event were; APC Irele /Okitipupa House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Akintoye Albert, APC candidate for Irele state Constituency, Local Government Chairman of the party and its other executive members, ward chairmen, ward women leaders, youth leaders, ward secretaries, Education Secretary of the council, Hon. Adebusoye Oloruntosin Joshua Babarere, his counterpart from Ilaje local government, Mr Olamigoke Jatuwase, and other party faithfuls.
