Religious leaders, friends, family, traditional rulers as well as important personalities from all walks of life on Friday poured more encomiums and eulogizes on the late Madam Iye Oba Cecilia Olaoyinbo Ogayemi nee Aiyeku.
The late Ogayemi, a Princes from Igbidigo kingdom and a renowned trader, died on the 24th of February, 2012.
Speaking during an interdenominational service held as part of the activities marking the final burial of the late Princes, the Minister in charge of Ibugbe Emi Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion, igbodigo, Okitipupa, Rt. Revd. Ijisan Oriola, described her as a good christian and lovers of success.
Revd. Oriola while lamenting over the death of the late Mrs. Ogayemi who he said has penchant for success which aptly showed in her flourishing sewing trade while she was alive.
Describing her as a devoted christian and lover of children, however admonished the children to continue by building on the legacy left behind by their late mother who he said God used during her life time to transform the church of God and her immediate society.
While praying for her continue rest in peace, the cleric explained that the vacuum created by her death would be difficult to fulfill within the society and the church of God in general.
The Cherubim and Seraphim cleric also used the period of the service to inform the congregation to repent and turn a new leaf by doing good to their fellow human being especially within their environments, stating that the wages of good thing would always linger from one generation to another.
The interdenominational service held at the Aiyeku quarters in Igbodigo, Okitipupa Local Government areas of Ondo State, featured activities which includes, praise and worship, songs ministration, bible reading as well as thanksgiving.
The programme was attended by the traditional ruler of Igbodigo community, Oba John Aiyeku, community leaders from various quarters in Okitipupa, friends as well as family of the deceased among others.
