In his welcome address, the General Overseer, Prophet Alfa Babatunde said that God has been so faithful and kind to the Church since the beginning and the evidence, according to him, is what the Church is witnessing today.
He submitted that the Church did not record any death among its members but rather it is increasing in number and strength.
Taking his sermon from the book of 1st Peter 2:9, Prophet Babatunde urged Christians praise God for His goodness and mercy over their lives.
“You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, and because you have been called out of darkness, you should boldly step into the marvelous light which God has called you into,” he emphasized.
While wishing everyone a happy anniversary, Prophet Babatunde reminded the people about the importance of living a holy life so as to reflect the presence of God in their lives.
