Ramadan: Omogbehin Breaks Fast With Muslims

In furtherance of his promise to always associate with his constituents. The member representing Okitipupa/ Irele Federal Constitiency of Ondo State, Hon. Mike Omogbehin yesterday broke the Ramadan fast with the Muslim community in Igbotako.

The event which was the first in the history of the mosque witnessed the presence of the deputy Imam of Igbotako Central mosque, Alfa Abdulateef and the Seriki of the Hausa community, and top Muslim leaders across the community.

RAMADAN: OMOGBEHIN BREAKS FAST WITH MUSLIMS.
In furtherance of his promise to always associate with his constituents. the member representing Okitipupa/ Irele Federal Constitiency of Ondo State, Hon. Mike Omogbehin yesterday broke the Ramadan fast with the Muslim community in Igbotako.

The event which was the first in the history of the mosque witnessed the presence of the deputy Imam of Igbotako Central mosque, Alfa Abdulateef and the Seriki of the Hausa community, and top Muslim leaders across the community.

The lawmaker who had earlier distributed foods items to the mosques within his constituency said “I know this period is very important in the life of muslims and i must be ready to associate with them.” It was also observed that the food donated by the lawmaker cut across all the mosques in his constituency.

In his welcome address the deputy Imam of Igbotako central mosque Alfa Abdulateef said they have never had that experience, that, Honorable Omogbehin who is a Christian, donating foods to Muslims, and also for finding time to associate with them. That this is unprecedented and they really appreciate this kind gesture.

The lawmaker urged them to use this Ramadan period to pray for peace, security and God’s intervention in tackling the myriad of socio- economic challenges facing the country and more importantly the leaders of the country.
