Chief Olusola Oke, APC aspirant in the coming governorship election in Ondo State has visited Okitipupa Local Government in the southernvsenatorial district. He had a parley with the council with the council Excos, delegates and followers of the party in the senatorial
district. The consultation chit-chat held at the Idepe town hall along OSUSTECH temporary site road. Oke’s campaign Director General, Hon. Bola Fisayo, while introducing Chief Olusola Oke maintained that Okitipupa is Oke’s natural habitat, having lived a good part of hislife in the town. He said Chief Oke’s familiarization tour of Okitipupa could be likened to ‘a son’s visit to his own root’.
Chairman of APC in Okitipupa Local Govt, Hon. Akinriwa welcomed Chief Olusola Oke to the local government, stressing that he is closer to Oke more than party stalwarts from outside Okitipupa. He said he associated with all the achievements of Chief Oke, noting that the APC candidate has the quintessential features of a state Governor.
In the course of the town hall meeting, youths from Ikoya, Ode- Aye, Ilutitun, Igbotako and Okitipupa crossed over from the PDP with a promise that they will ensure the victory of Chief Olusola Oke at the governorship election if APC will present him in the party’s
forthcoming primary election.
Chief Oke in his reaction at the parley said APC is the party of choice in the November gubernatorial poll. Oke noted that at the last count, APC has 47 governorship candidates, stressing that it takes a virile party that is politically active to project such array of
However, Oke maintained that while all the aspirants are qualified, he stands a better chance of getting the party’s ticket because of his rich political antecedent. Oke said his appeal will go to the party’s delegate to choose competence and performance over
media propagation of personality. He said he is a disciple of late Dr. Olusegun Agagu’s school of politics and he is poised to bring real and physical development to all nooks and crannies of Ondo State.
