… reports that the toast of the town wedding attracted journalists, prominient personalties and political stalwarts in the state to the reception held at Bubble Hotel in Ayeka, Okitipupa.
Dr Olusegun Mimiko, the state governor and the chairman of the occassion congratulated the newly wedded couple urging them to tolorate one another for the marriage to be sustained.
Gov. Mimiko who was represented by Pastor Olusegun Ayeniun also said that the secret of marriage was love and ability to correct each mistakes as well as forgive themseves and forget every discord.
“If the couple can love themselves dearly and did not see each others mistakes, the marriage would last forever,” Mimiko said.
Mr Forhukerhijor, the brides father told NAN that the wedding day was his greatest happiest day saying that God has helped him to train his daughter and also witness the wedding.
He advised the couple to love themselves whole-heartedly, be fervent in prayers and should not involve third party in their affairs.
“Today is my happiest day in life which i have been looking up to, i wish the new couple happy married life in success and good tidings,” he said.
Mrs Fiyebo, the bride described her husband, Fred as a loving and caring friend which would stop at nothing to ensure she was always comfortable.
“He is my best friend, brother, father and caring husband and i have vowed to spend the rest of my life with him,” she said.
The groom, Mr Fiyebo also said that he would ensure that he love, care and pamper his wife describing her as his soulmate and helpmate.
Mr Banji Okunomo, the Publicity Secretary of state People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Vincent Obadia, the newly elected member of the state House of Assembly and others were among dignitaries at the wedding.
